Mozambique
African Banking Corporation Mozambique SA (ABC Mozambique) is a wholly owned subsidiary of ABC Holdings Limited (ABCH).
ABC Mozambique was incorporated in 1999 as BNP Nedbank (Moçambique) SARL, a joint venture between BNP Paribas and Nedbank of South Africa, offering banking services mostly to multinationals’ subsidiaries and local blue chip companies. In 2001 both shareholders decided to disinvest and ABCH acquired 100% of shares in the bank, changing its name to African Banking Corporation (Moçambique) SARL. The product offering remained unchanged and includes Treasury Services, Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Structured Trade Finance.
African Banking Corporation Moçambique’s customer base includes multi-national organizations, small to medium sized corporates, parastatals, NGOs, professional bodies and private individuals seeking investment advice, wealth creation and management services.
In a relatively small and highly competitive market, ABC Moçambique works to differentiate itself as a financial partner that provides financial solutions tailored to customers’ special requirements.
